Where to Buy Quality Ready-to-Wear Clothes in Lagos (Online, 2026)
Lagos is full of ready-to-wear — and full of disappointment. A straight guide to judging quality before you pay, what fair prices look like, and how delivery should work.

Search "ready-to-wear Lagos" and you'll drown in options — Instagram vendors, market stalls, and a handful of real labels. The hard part isn't finding clothes; it's knowing what you're getting before the money leaves your account. Here's the checklist we'd use even if we didn't make clothes ourselves.
1. Look at the seams, not the photos
Studio photography flatters everything. Quality shows in the finishing: flat, even seams; buttonholes that are stitched, not fraying; hems that hang level. A serious store shows close-ups or names its construction — we photograph ours plainly and describe the make on every product page because the sewing is the product.
2. Ask where it's actually made
"Designed in Lagos" often means imported in bulk and relabelled. Made-in-Nigeria matters for two reasons: the cut is drafted for our climate and bodies, and alterations or repairs are possible — the atelier that made it can fix it. Everything Realmode sells is cut and sewn in our own Isolo atelier.
3. Judge the price against the make, not the brand
In 2026, honestly-made Nigerian ready-to-wear runs roughly ₦40,000–₦90,000 for a quality shirt or two-piece set. Far below that, something gave — usually fabric or the person paid to sew it. Far above it, you're paying for logo. Our range sits at ₦46,000 to ₦88,000, and the price differences track fabric and handwork, nothing else.
4. Check the delivery and returns terms before paying
A legitimate store publishes delivery prices by state, a timeline, and a returns policy you can hold them to. Ours are public: 1–3 working days in Lagos, 3–7 nationwide, free above ₦300,000, free size exchanges — all on the Shipping & Returns page before you ever reach checkout.
5. Pay somewhere accountable
Card, transfer or USSD through a payment processor beats "DM for account number" every time — you get a receipt, a reference, and recourse. Realmode checkout runs on Paystack, on our own domain, and you can also order via WhatsApp if you prefer to talk first.
